New bell schedule for Gladstone High:
For the 2017-1018 school year we will begin at 8:00 am, 15 minutes earlier than last year. School will end at 3:00 pm, 15 minutes earlier than last year. The primary reason for the shift is allowing students’ access to extra help after school from their own teachers. Students will have a half hour after school every day to access teachers for questions, clarifications, and extra help. Last year it was just 15 minutes after school. Teachers will still be available in the morning from 7:30 to 8:00, when classes start. A second reason for the change is to reduce the amount of school missed by the many students participating in sports and after school activities due to travel in our league. 15 minutes doesn’t seem that much but the time adds up over the year. Bus scheduled pick up and drop off times will not change.
