Gladstone School District will begin accepting all new substitute applications on  August 13, 2018 for the 2018-19 school year.

Please read below for details on how to register. 

Welcome and thank you for your interest in substituting in the Gladstone School District. We appreciate and value the service you provide.

Gladstone is a community with a population of approximately 12,000 people. The District consists of four schools: Gladstone Center for Children and Families (K), John Wetten Elementary (1-5), Kraxberger Middle School (6-8) and Gladstone High School (9-12).

To be eligible to substitute in the Gladstone School District, you must first register with the Clackamas Education Service District (CESD) on their website.

Once you have completed the registration process including all ANNUAL trainings with CESD and after August 10, 2018 you will need to visit the Gladstone School District Office located at 17789 Webster Rd., Gladstone, Oregon to complete a substitute application packet.

Bring with you the following required items:

  • CESD substitute confirmation email
  • Copy of valid teaching license (if applicable)
  • Copy of training transcripts or proof of training completion
  • Two pieces of valid identification for the I9
  • Voided check for Direct Deposit

In addition, license substitutes are to annually complete a Criminal History Check. Please do so on our Criminal History Check/Volunteer Application webpage:
