The Gladstone School District consists of four schools: Gladstone Center for Children and Families (Pre-K–K), John Wetten Elementary (1–5), Kraxberger Middle School (6–8) and Gladstone High School (9–12).Our schools have been rated among the highest on the Oregon Report Card. The District is governed by a seven member Board and administered by Bob Stewart, Superintendent.
Gladstone is a community with a population of approximately 12,000 people. Its location is just fifteen minutes south of downtown Portland. Many of the residents choose to live in Gladstone because of the friendly small town atmosphere and the strong schools. Gladstone combines the convenience of suburban living with easy access to year-round recreational activities.
Gladstone schools benefit from a high degree of volunteerism from parents who assist in classrooms, sponsor special activities, raise money to support school activities and participate in school events.
