Gladstone Schools’ Farm to School program connects local farmers with schools. We work together to improve student health, educate students about where food comes from and how it’s grown, and support local farms and economies.
Gladstone School District’s Nutrition Services department is proud to serve locally grown foods whenever possible. Our local produce comes from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Northern California, and even comes from our very own school gardens when available – you can’t get much more local than that!
We also celebrate healthy, local produce with a Harvest of the Month program, which features a different local fruit or vegetable served every month. Keep an eye on the menu for days when these items will be served!
