Radon

The district has developed a radon plan as required by ORS 332.167. Community members can access a copy of the radon plan by requesting a copy from the District Office or by downloading the plan.  Test results will be made public and posted annually.

Lead Compliance Plan (Water, Paint, etc.)

The district has developed a Lead Compliance plan to identify and mitigate potential lead exposures by providing testing and management protocols to effectively manage building systems including water and paint. Community members can access a copy of the plan by requesting a copy from the District Office or by downloading the plan. All water test results will be made public and posted annually. The district will always use an Oregon Health Authority accredited lab for all testing.

Water testing will be conducted annually at various locations in all buildings.  Appropriate corrective action will be taken immediately at any food preparation or drinking water source where lead levels are elevated at 12ppb or higher.  Any source testing with a lead reading of 5 to 11 ppb will retested on an annual basis.

In order to comply with the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s Renovation, Repair and Painting Program Rule, the district will only contract with certified lead based paint renovation contractors licensed by the Oregon Construction Contractors Board or utilize District staff that are certified by the Oregon Health Authority to perform the work.

Integrated Pest Management

The district has adopted an integrated pest management plan as required by ORS 634.700 through 634.750. Community members can access a copy of the IPM plan by requesting a copy from the District Office or by downloading the plan.

Communication

The district will make all test results and detailed information explaining the test results available to the public within five business days of receiving the results. Results will be made available by posting the results on the district website, sending notice of the results over the email system, and making the results available in hardcopy at the main District Office.
