Substitute Information
Gladstone School District is now accepting licensed substitute applications for the 2011-2012 school year. Please read below for details on how to register.
Welcome and thank you for your interest in substituting in the Gladstone School District. We appreciate and value the service you provide.
Gladstone is a community with a population of approximately 12,000 people. The District consists of four schools: Gladstone Center for Children and Families (K), John Wetten Elementary (1-5), Kraxberger Middle School (6-8) and Gladstone High School (9-12). Our schools have been rated among the highest on the Oregon Report Card.
To be eligible to substitute in the Gladstone School District, you must first register with the Clackamas Education Service District. For additional information you may contact the Clackamas ESD at (503)-675-4000 or visit their website at http://www.clackesd.k12.or.us/hr/sub.html.
Once you have completed the registration process with the Clackamas ESD, you must visit the Gladstone School District Office located at 17789 Webster Rd., Gladstone, OR to complete a short substitute application* and payroll forms. You will also need to present your ESD substitute card, your original teaching license, your driver’s license and your social security card. In addition you will need to provide a transcript indicating you have taken the mandatory trainings (Bloodborne Pathogens, Child Abuse Prevention, Sexual Harassment, and Sexual Misconduct-Staff to Student: HB2062) The District substitute handbook* is available for your review.
