As part of their final projects for Summer School, Gladstone's incoming sixth-through-eighth graders participated in making original hand-printed T-shirts.
Audrey Delgado, Kraxberger Middle School's visual arts teacher, led students through carving soft printmaking blocks that included images inspired by each student's personal experiences.
After spreading a thin layer of ink on their blocks, students used a relief printing press to create their T-shirt keepsakes from the summer project.
