This year, through Kraxberger Middle School's Oregon Department of Education designation, we are placing a special emphasis on supporting our multilingual students as they grow both linguistically and academically. Our diverse student body is one of our greatest strengths, and it is our collective responsibility to ensure that every student feels valued and empowered to succeed.
We are partnering with Dan Kimbrow from the Clackamas ESD during our pre-service week and throughout the year on implementing strategies to support the learning experiences of multilingual students. This includes professional development opportunities like Kimbrow's Aug. 28 training with Kraxberger teachers focused on best practices for language acquisition, as well as integrating more inclusive teaching methods across all content areas. Our goal is to create an environment where every student thrives.
