Daryl Dixon returned to Gladstone on May 3 to continue the conversation with all staff throughout our school district.
This is a follow-up to previous discussions that Dixon led about Oregon history and education as part of professional development sessions designed to help us better understand the historical context of our education system and how we can better serve students and families. Our session this month focused on how to encourage supportive language and behavior for all of our students and staff regardless of our backgrounds.
We also spent Jan. 2 participating in an equity cohort with Dixon, a former North Clackamas School District board member who first started working with our school district in the year 2000.
