Our school district is very happy to announce that Scott Sullivan will be joining the Gladstone team as our interim director of schools for the 2024-25 school year.
Sullivan will be starting the interim position on July 1, when Assistant Superintendent Jeremiah Patterson is taking over as superintendent following Bob Stewart’s retirement. Patterson said that he has appreciated working with Sullivan over the years.
“Scott’s level of experience and breadth of knowledge made him stand out among other excellent candidates,” Patterson said.
Sullivan began his career in education as a classroom teacher in California for 10 school years starting in 1984. In 1995, he moved to Oregon and started working for the Estacada School District, first as a teacher, then as a principal and later as director of teaching and learning.
