A parent at the Gladstone Center for Children & Families created a new version of our Growing Great People logo with the help of handprints from students as the “leaves” on the tree.
Be sure to check out Brendan Elliot’s new artwork just inside the center's main entrance honoring Gladstone Superintendent Bob Stewart before his retirement. Stewart’s last day working for our school district will be June 30.
GCCF’s new mural includes a statement “in honor of the contributions and years of service that Bob Stewart championed for children and families in Gladstone.”
Stewart has been busy wrapping up his involvement in ongoing projects during his last few months of service. He’s also been receiving visits in honor of his retirement from current and former staff members such as John Wetten, the 93-year-old former principal of his now-namesake school.
