Lead Compliance Plan (Water, Paint, etc.)
The district has developed a Lead Compliance Plan [linked above] to identify and mitigate potential lead exposures by providing testing and management protocols to effectively manage building systems including water and paint. The district will always use an Oregon Health Authority accredited lab for all testing.
Water testing will be conducted annually at various locations in all buildings. Appropriate corrective action will be taken immediately at any food preparation or drinking water source where lead levels are elevated at 12ppb or higher. Any source testing with a lead reading of 5 to 11 parts per billion will retested on an annual basis.
In order to comply with the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s Renovation, Repair and Painting Program Rule, the district will only contract with certified lead based paint renovation contractors licensed by the Oregon Construction Contractors Board or utilize District staff who are certified by the Oregon Health Authority to perform the work.
Integrated Pest ManagementThe district has adopted an integrated pest management plan [linked above] as required by ORS 634.700 through 634.750.
