Check your student’s progress

ParentVue helps parents track student progress

Gladstone High School and Kraxberger Middle School both use the parent portal  ParentVue, linked to our Synergy student data system. You will find it by clicking on the Grade Check quick link on the right side of your school’s website, in the Quick Links section.

How can I find out about my child’s progress?
Parent activation codes are the same as those assigned last year.  If your student is new to either school, contact the staffer at the school your oldest child attends to receive your user name and password:
Kraxberger Middle School:  Shaun Southmayds — southmas@gladstone.k12.or.us
Gladstone High School:  Vicki Baker — bakerv@gladstone.k12.or.us

New users can follow these steps to log in the first time:
1)  Visit https://gl.cesdk12.org
2)  Click the box that says “I am a parent,” and then click “I have an activation key and need to create my account.”
3)  Enter your first name and last name (exactly as written in your letter) and your 7-digit activation key.  This will allow you to set your own user name and password.
4)  Go back to the ParentVue link on your school website.  Log in with your user name and password.  You can now access grades, attendance information, and teacher contact links for each of your middle school and high school students.

What information can parents access through ParentVue?
For grades 6-12, ParentVue will provide access to grades and information about missing assignments, as well as attendance information and a way to email teachers.

Do students have access to the system?
Yes, middle school and high school students got instruction at school on how to check their grades.  They have their own log-in and password.

What if my student is struggling?
If your child is struggling in a class, start by emailing their teacher, or phoning the school counselor.  They can tell you about after school or Saturday school opportunities to get extra help.
