Students in John Wetten Elementary’s Extended Day program this summer got a treat when the city of Gladstone recently offered snow cones to kids at Max Patterson Park.
Among the snow-cone servers was Pat McMahon, a former city councilor and Portland firefighter.
Several students from Kraxberger Middle School also found the event and took part in the hot summer’s cool fun at the city’s waterpark.
