The Clothes Closet is here to help!
We provide free clothing and shoes to babies, kids, and teens.
Video: Gladstone Kids Clothes Closet
Hours: From 10 a.m.-noon on Saturdays when school is in session.
Location: North side of the Gladstone High School campus off Nelson Lane. Park on the street, and walk down the fire lane toward the school.
Who we serve: The Clothes Closet was created to serve the needs of children and families in the Gladstone community. Shoppers are welcome regardless of residency. Families register at their first visit and may shop once each trimester, fall, winter and spring.
To donate: The Clothes Closet welcomes donations of new and clean, gently used clothing and shoes for children birth-teen. Please donate only clothing that is free of rips and stains, and is appropriate for today’s children. Please deliver donations from 10 a.m.-noon when we are open on Saturdays.
Cash donations: These help us purchase laundry soap, clothing racks, signs, photocopies, and other essentials. These can be made through the Gladstone Education Foundation. [please specify Gladstone Clothes Closet in the drop-down menu.]
Volunteers: This project is run by volunteers from Gladstone Christian Church, Rotary Club of Gladstone/Oak Lodge, Gladstone Personal Support Workers, the Holland Family and St. Stephen Lutheran Church.
