Kraxberger Middle School students are sending a Valentine to the Gladstone Food Pantry this week.
According to Oregon Hunger Task Force, 13% of our state's children face food insecurity, and Dave Carrell's ACTIONS class is spearheading the annual Valentine's week food drive to help provide access to food in our community. To help, you can drop off canned food and cash at Kraxberger, and specify what grade (sixth, seventh or eighth) you would like to support in our school spirit competition.
Our goal is to collect a ton of love (2,000 pounds), beating last year's donation of 1,700 pounds.
