Kraxberger Middle School students and staff celebrated the mid-term with an assembly honoring the connection between students and staff. A schoolwide game of Rock-Paper-Scissors culminated in a grand championship, crowning a student from each grade level and a staff member (Robert Key) as Rock-Paper-Scissors Grand Champions.
Trophies were awarded for the annual March-Madness bracket challenge put on by Dave Carrell. Mr. Carrell uses the annual basketball brackets to bring real-world math into seventh grade with statistics and calculation practice. Brackets have become a beloved rivalry between kids and grownups at Kraxberger.
Kraxberger’s annual student vs. staff dodgeball game wrapped up the assembly. Staff valiantly battled their students, and a draw was called for time (students were winning) so everyone could head home for the weekend.
Students and staff at Kraxberger then turned their attention to wrapping up a wonderful year with seven more weeks of classes, the annual End-Of-Year BBQ and eighth grade promotion celebrations.
