Start Making A Reader Today volunteers gave out achievement certificates to students they've been working with all school year and received notes of appreciation in return.
Ginger Zimtbaum, our school district's volunteer coordinator, said that these citizens have been working weekly with John Wetten Elementary School's first, second and third graders.
"The time that they have gifted has been phenomenal in reading to these students throughout the school year," Zimtbaum said.
