During Dec. 7’s Shop with a Cop event, the Gladstone Police Department again participated in a heartwarming initiative that supports our students at John Wetten Elementary.
Gladstone police officers took 10 students on a holiday shopping trip in the county. The children were selected by administrators at the school.
The annual program is partly funded through community events and donations, and they started their day with local doughnuts and juice; it’s a wonderful way to build positive relationships between the community and law enforcement while making the holiday season brighter for families.
